Conceptual Artist, sculptural, text based, pencil and pen drawings

I am a conceptual artist making work about being female and trauma. My work is text-based, sculptural and indexical: I depict the entry point of trauma into the body, tracing it through images, text, objects, events without image. I look for the threshold between productive pain (P) and non-productive pain (Non-P) asking how pain makes creativity possible - and where it cannot. I materialise mitigation and it's impact. I look at known and invented texts for fictional accounts of low spirits. I'm interested in creative repetition and replication - why we repeat ourselves, why we replicate others. I'm interested in how women behave.
