EXHIBITIONS COORDINATOR (PART-TIME)

Outside In is looking for an experienced and creative Exhibitions Coordinator to oversee the development of the Outside In Exhibition Programme. Exhibitions are often organised in partnership with Outside In’s numerous partners and have taken place in larger galleries and museums, commercial galleries and non-traditional community settings. You will play an active role in developing the Outside In Exhibition Programme, managing and curating exhibitions that seek to achieve Outside In’s mission. The candidate should have demonstrable experience of organising and curating exhibitions, an interest in non-traditional art and Outsider Art and an evidenced commitment to inclusion in the arts.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

Outside In is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative support and oversee HR functions for Outside In. Outside In works to challenge art world assumptions as to who is an artist and what is art, positioning often overlooked excluded artists in to the wider art world. You will play an active role in supporting the management functions for Outside In, administrating the charity and supporting the Director, Board of Trustees and Outside In team. The candidate should have demonstrable experience of administration and a knowledge of HR and systems.

HOUSE 2017

Outside In are delighted to once again collaborate with HOUSE, Brighton's contemporary visual arts festival.

One artist will be commissioned to produce a new artwork inspired by the theme of 'Excess' and the work of artist Laura Ford. The final work will go on display at Phoenix Brighton in October 2017.

Volunteer


We are extremely grateful for the support, time and skills that volunteers give to Outside In. Volunteering is a great way for artists to get more involved in the charity. There is a role for everyone and we aim to tailor volunteering to your interests and availability. 

Ambassadors - Ambassadors are spokespeople for Outside In who represent the organisation at public events.

Artist Advisory Group - Our new committee of artists meet quarterly to discuss Outside In's developments. The group members represent the wider Outside In community. Their voice informs and directs the work of Outside In.

Blog writers - Anyone can contribute to our blog with stories, articles, reviews and much more. Ideal for volunteers who would prefer to work remotely or from home.

Office or event support - Help the team with administrative tasks in the Outside In office or lend a hand at Outside In events.
