Aidan Moesby

A text based artist distilling the concealed histories of people and place.

My practice as an artist/curator is research based and underpinned through a conversational interrogative aesthetic. I make location specific, responsive and often socially engaged work. I am interested in location and site, the stories which unfold there and the memories which are left. Much of my practice is concerned with the weather, both the external real weather and the internal metaphorical weather. My work sits at the intersection of art, health and increasingly technology. I produce work in a range of media from vinyl text to digital and from interventions to installations.

It is interesting to see the range of work that a multi-skilled artist creates.

The quality of this work is reallly good. There is a similar tension in "Drought" as there is in "Liar Liar".
