Outside In artist commissioned to create a print for Morgan Stanley
New artwork by Sarah Carpenter
Global financial services firm, Morgan Stanley has been working in partnership with Outside In to commission a new print by artist Sarah Carpenter as part of its activities marking 40 years in the UK.
Carpenter is a London-based artist, designer, photographer and printmaker. This special commission offered Sarah exclusive access to preview inspirational work from the British Museum’s upcoming exhibition The American Dream: pop to the present which Morgan Stanley is sponsoring. Sarah has also had the opportunity to meet with exhibition co-curator, Catherine Daunt, and access specialist printmaking facilities at Putney School of Art.
Of being selected for this commission, she said:
“I feel extremely lucky to be selected and continue to pinch myself every step of the way. It’s not every day you get that close to a Rauschenberg or a Warhol! And to glean such remarkable insight from the co-curator of the exhibition Catherine too! Incredible!”
Sarah's print is due to be completed this spring. Outside In will share the final artwork online and it will be displayed at Morgan Stanley’s offices in Canary Wharf.
