Applications now open for training at Poole Museum

Step Up Leading Workshops

Applications are now open for Step Up Leading Workshops which will be held at Poole Museum. The ten-week course starts on Monday 13 May and has been made possible thanks to funding from Arts Council England for Outside In’s touring exhibition Alternative Visions (2017-2018).

The course will be delivered by an experienced Step Up Tutor and aims to support artists to develop skills relating to designing and delivering creative workshops. Through a structured programme of sessions it will give participants the skills and practical experience to deliver a workshop, covering all all aspects from how to set up a room, to what legislation you might need to be aware of.

This course has spaces for ten to 15 artists and the deadline for applications is 5pm, Wednesday 3 April 2019. Interviews will take place on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 April 2019.

Submissions are made by filling out a short application form, which we are happy to provide in a range of formats. Please let us know if you have any access requirements.
