Workshop to help improve our website

We are currently working on the exciting project of re-developing our website. Being a platform for artists who experience barriers to the art world, our website is very important to us. Having an effective website allows us to best showcase our artists' work and publicise our upcoming events, exhibitions and opportunities, among other things.

To ensure that we redevelop our website most effectively, we would like hear our website users' opinions on our website and how we propose to improve it. We and are running two workshops (i.e. discussions) to gain feedback from you, one for those who consider themselves 'arts engaged' (but are not an Outside In artist) and one for those who don't consider themsevles arts engaged. The focus group for Outside In artists has already passed.

Both workshops offer a free lunch and a £20 Amazon voucher as a thank-you for attending.

Non-Arts Engaged Workshop - looking for participants

This workshop is for people who do not engage with the arts, perhaps because they find them inaccessible, irrelevant, uninteresting, or another reason. They are also not Outside In artists. We would like to know why you are not engaged with the arts. What could be improved? What would  you like to see from Outside In? How could we adapt our website to meet your needs too? Come and discuss these topics and more with like-minded individuals. You will receive a £20 Amazon voucher and a free lunch for attending.

Date: 27th February

Time: 10am - 2.30pm

Location: Jubilee Library, Brighton

Arts Engaged Workshop - now passed

'Arts engaged' mean that you enjoy going to galleries and looking at art work, or study the arts etc, but are not Outside In artists. We would like to know what would you like to see and know from Outside In? How can Outside In's website compete with other arts organisations' websites? Come and discuss these topics and more with like-minded individuals. There will be presentations from our artists to provide more information about what the charity does. You will receive a £20 Amazon voucher and a free lunch for attending.

Date: 7th February

Time: 11.30-4pm

Location: Clore Studio, Tate Britain, London

Contact to book: hannah.whitlock@outsidein.org.uk

While Outside In artists cannot attend these focus groups, please do encourage your friends and family to sign up. Knowing how we can best improve our website is key for providing you with the best platform possible for displaying your artwork and news.
