Are you passionate about Outside In? Then we need you to spread the word by becoming an Outside In ambassador and help us reach out to new artists and new supporters.
There are lots of ways ambassadors can get involved, from inspiring new artists to join, attending exhibition openings and distributing leaflets to delivering inspiring talks about your journey with Outside In. It can be tailored to your skills.
Being an ambassador can also help with building confidence and provide opportunities to gain new skills. Outside In will provide you with invites to exhibition openings, training and merchandise.
Outside In artist and ambassador Phil Baird explains what it is like taking on the role: “Ambassadors each have their individual networks; friends, contacts, artist pals, organisations and groups so each person can develop personal approaches… The role includes simple acts of giving such as placing information in places where interested persons can find them so the leaflets are distributed and at least read or followed up on.”
You can read more about Phil’s experience, HERE.
The next Outside In ambassador training will take place on Friday 25 January, 10.30am to 3.30pm, at the Jubilee Library in Brighton. Lunch will be provided. Travel expenses are available but will need to be agreed in advance. Places are limited to 12 and will be given on a first come first served basis. To sign up contact Ambassador Assistant, Beth Hopkins via email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01273 381311.
