Outside In: Milton Keynes Past

6 – 29 September 2013

MK Gallery’s Project Space exhibition throughout September 2013 showcased the work of artists’ living in the Milton Keynes region, who chose to align themselves with the Outside In project. From intuitive artists to self-taught visionaries, Outside In: Milton Keynes provided a unique insight into the extraordinary breadth of work produced by individuals from outside the mainstream art world. The many different processes and stories on show challenged the accepted norm around what art is, enabling audiences to discover powerful new dimensions to the art world.

The five artists were:

  • Sharu
  • Fi Bowman
  • Drawings of Grant
  • Giant wall hanging of Open Door Collective
  • Lisaloves

Address: MK Gallery Project Space, 900 Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes, MK9 3QA
