Outside In: North East Past

Outside In: North East is currently open at the Woodhorn Museum in Ashington, Northumberland. It features artists facing barriers to the art world who live in the north east of England. This exhibition closes on 30 June 2013.

Outside In artist Phil Baird has also worked with freelance researcher Julia Elmore to create some reinterpretations of the Pitman Painters Collection which is currently housed in the Woodhorn Museum. Please go along to take a look at these interpretations as well as the exhibition, which features an array of different styles of art.
