Here at Outside In, we wanted to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and to thank you for all of your interest and support throughout 2015. We had a fantastic year, working with some great organisations and venues to put on some inspiring exhibitions and events. We have collaborated with HOUSE Festival and Phoenix Brighton, Bethlem Gallery, Not Shut Up, Tate, Salisbury Arts Centre and the Brighton Wellbeing Centre to name a few, and had an incredibly successful time at this year’s Paris Outsider Art Fair.
As we enter 2016, we also enter Outside In’s tenth anniversary year, and the year of our fourth triennial exhibition, ‘Radical Craft: Alternative Ways of Making.’ The exhibition is in collaboration with Craftspace and will display the work of internationally renowned artists associated in some way with the term ‘outsider art,’ alongside work by UK-based Outside In artists.
We’ll be taking a short hiatus next week, when there won’t be a blog post – but we’ll be back in January, and we’re looking forward to bringing you even more reviews, features and events in the New Year!
