From the artist:
I paint journeys. The distance travelled on a journey can be immense or may only be measured in millimetres. The time taken on a journey can be measured in millions of years or in just a couple of milliseconds and no two journeys are ever the same. Everything is always travelling, moving from one state to another and I find that fascinating. If you imagined looking down from a satellite onto the Earth you would see features that have been sculpted over millions of years, you would see the mountains, the seas, the deserts and the rivers in all their glory, beautiful in their colour and forms. But if you looked through a microscope at the cellular structure within us you can see similar forms and colours and beauty and yet their journey can be travelled within seconds. They exist on different scales of time and size but they are all on a journey, and that is what I paint.
