Given that I am mathematically wired to the meta-physical verse, I find it more satisfying to express my work through abstraction. When I apply myself through ink and paint, I tend to take the normal tract of form and bend it to fit the idea of a place behind the face of what appears to be real. In one respect I am Kant with a paint brush, getting in behind the face of form as we perceive it to be, to find clarity with that field in the dark one is desperate to walk in. I mainly draw with my eyes closed and only peek to regain position when I need to. I tend to draw the single line that makes up a couple more than any other subject, and yet, all my pictures, whether lovers or otherwise, are an expression of the shape behind the shape of all we see.
