Colour’s revelatory power breathes vibrantly in my paintings that seek to facilitate transcendent experiences through rich and dreamy world-building. They disseminate my unique and unusual hyperactive creativity using a variety of textures on canvas.
My painting is informed by my lived experience of ADHD and other neurodivergent traits, heightened sensitivity and synaesthesia that floods my senses.
A contemporary colourist painter, I create vibrant works on canvas or paper to expand on the language of hues to explore the potential of colour and express the inexpressible.
My paintings sing texture, as do my art words, installations and sound/video art.
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, described as a polymath, “Renaissance Woman”- I work across a multitude of mediums to disseminate powerful and timely truths telling of invisibility challenges and resilience from an unflinchingly female gaze.
I use colour to invite audiences to look inward towards something beyond the surface, deep within the painting – and in doing so, audiences see within themselves.
