“I use my art to highlight that I have Dyslexia, but there is more to me than Dyslexia”
Gained City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Design and Craft (Fashion) in the Context of Textile Decoration and City and Guilds Certificate of Unit Credit Towards Level 2 in Design and Craft (Fashion) at Rosetta Studios Workshop/Newham College.
I am an “intuitive” Textile Designer/Printer, Textile Artist and Mixed Media Art Explorer. My personal mantra is “My Creativity is as Unlimited as the Sky”, The development of my art is two-fold, personal expression and to be shared the with others.
Colour, a natural phenomenon which is visually stimulating, I am inspired by the unlimited colours of flowers, plants, horizon, etc. I can only try to replicate it with paints, dyes etc. .
Texture, for me engages the sense of physical touch eg: the velvety Red Rose, grains of sand and imagined texture ie: sky. My use materials eg: plastic, paper, fabric, wood is my way of indirect expression of texture which is more fun, as it opens up an element of enquiry for the observer.
