As a Visual Artist I gain inspiration from my Jamaican heritage, nature and everyday life and I use the enjoyable aspects of life’s journey to create a range of exciting contemporary visual art. I have participated in London for group installation exhibition for mind charity in 2008 celebrating 60 years of mind charity. Following this success I have expanded my creative talents to focus more on art and textiles adapting my skills from dressmaking roots. This has enabled me to diversify and use greater skill to create more abstract work using fabrics and a range of techniques including digital image and collage to achieve depth in my artwork which develop further interest and intrigue. I use traditional print techniques gaining an organic flow to my work. My rainfall series has been inspired by water. Electric Nature collection is inspired by the excitement and celebration of special occasions. I have returned using my skills and talent back in the West Midlands. Artrix, Summer Art Open Exhibition 2015 and exhibiting at Harborne Art Gallery a part of Birmingham sketchcrawl. In 2016 my work is included for positive mental health festival “Arts All Over The Place”, Birmingham. 2017 presented debut solo art exhibition at Artefact, Stirchley. Participated for WAA International Womens Day group art show at Llanover Hall, Cardiff, Wales.
