From the artist:
"32 Brains" is a moving image projection and installation. Representing the inside and outside of the domestic space and the stigma associated with being a social housing resident. Saturated images flicker across a broken hanging venetian blind, colours and shapes seep through to the wall behind. Stigma and inequality, prejudice and discrimination dressed up in bright, fun colours and beamed into peoples homes through tv, laptop, mobile screens. Reference is made to the holders of power using found sound bites and sound effects to create a dystopian dialogue. Exhibited as part of Helen Nelson's solo exhibition 32 Brains in Coventry, 2019 along with artworks: "Seepage", "Conversations & Reflections" and "Re-imagining Monopoly"
