From the artist:
This is a collection of Patterned work. Because I am registered blind, it is impossible for me to be a Portrait Artist or the Landscape Artist. I rely on patterns to make sense of the world I am living in. The first half was based on my memory as a sighted child and the last few Artworks as a blind person. 8. Wheels As a sighted Child, I used to dream of owning a car. I was lucky enough to live on a farm where I could "help" my father with the farming. I would allow to ride a bike, drive a Land Rover, a Tractor, and a Combine. I would restore a 1950 Ford Pop 100E and build a few kit cars. All that before I reached 41 years old, the year I went blind. I missed the freedom of driving, wind blowing in your hair, taking responsibilities to take my daughter to school and all that. Now I can't. I only allow to ride a bicycle. But I know one day, I would no longer able to ride it.
