I have always found that my art works stems from my psychological processes.
Having done performance art at college many years ago , I then went on to paint large colourful abstracts which were a definite release of difficult and powerful emotions. This expressive painting helped me through psychological health problems. Then through wilderness years later I painted an drew mainly in monochrome which I think reflected my mood.
It is only this year that I have returned to colour work, perhaps a renewed lighter approach to life.
I enjoy painting and drawing in nature and also from photographs, working fairly quickly.
I hope the viewer will find something in my art work that resonates with them and helps them to further exploration of the art world.
