I have always been interested in art and as a child spent most of my holidays painting or drawing the sea and boats around Devon and cornwall. It was my escape, my own little world, that took me away from reality. At 17 I was painting murals of cartoons on nursery walls in Kensington London, I gave it up to focus on bringing my daughter up.
After a failed marriage I became agoraphobic and was unable to step out of my house for 7 years, during that time
art again became my world, helping me to stay sane. I have been diagnosed with Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and again found art relaxing. I have been making baby dolls for collector’s and remembrance for over 7 years now and love making the new ‘mums’ happy.
