Outside In arrived in 2006 about the same time I stated working as an artist by exhibiting and selling my work at art fairs. Outside In also exhibited one of my artworks. Since that time Outside In has kept me focused on developing my creativity although for many years I did little due to distracting day to day living. I spent four and a half years doing the knowledge to become a taxi driver in London and that took its toll on my creativity. I pleased to say due to Outside In’s communications I have picked up the felt pen and paper once again and I will begin again where I left off.
I draw with a Berol Fineliner 0.4 a black plastic tip felt pen on white paper. My earlier stuff captures my emotions and how I see myself, like a flightless bird. Sometimes the situations in my life are drawn.
I like to approach starting a new piece of artwork by picking a subject from nature and drawing from the mind where a million and one possibilities hide. I am untrained and still have to work harder to achieve a higher standard of work. As for the moment the naive style of my artwork creates interest sells and is a date stamp of how I am developing.
