From the artist:
Humans experience the world around them, the events and encounters within it through their senses; each with their own sensory strengths and weaknesses. Perceptions are processed in the brain, where they traverse individual neurologic labyrinths, via moral judgements, metaphysical constructs and subconscious prejudice. Memory only increases the distortions. Each of us lives alone in the subjective universes we build in our minds. Our consciousnesses pass each other and our surroundings, often lost in voids of pain, ambition, technology, fantasy or regret.
