Hello, my name is Jennifer ❤️ and here is a little about me.
Creativeness has and will always be a part on me, it’s who I am so when my health took a turn well this affected me physically and emotionally, I looked for something to do. Being that I was housebound I was a bit stuck then I thought of what makes me happy, my creative side.
So I started to paint again which is something I used to do before life got in the way. I use watercolour as it does what it wants, and your best laid plans can just go out the window but in a good way. I do use acrylics in some of my paintings, but my first love is watercolour.
I like to keep it simple using A3, A4 paper. I draw, paint what I feel, see or anything I love and talks to me. I love colour and trees as they are in a lot of my paintings.
I’m not keen on being restrictive in my painting as I feel doing what you love is the best thing (I’m freeing my creative soul with ever painting)
I am always open to new things in my painting and that’s why I did an online course on art therapy which was amazing. It bought out a lot of different things in me and my painting and I found it really helped and gave a direction to work towards.
My art is always different, and I’m still learning and get the benefits and joy it brings to my life as the name says, My Art Unfolding. This has helped me start sharing my art more and how I came across Outside in and with their support decided to share my art online. I am not saying it was easy doing this, but I think it was the right step to having all my art in one place instead of my draws and walls. Also, a place to come to for myself and anyone where my art may talk to you and help you though a bad day.
(I’m aware it was more than a little about me but thanks for reading)
