I have a great understanding that by being creatively active you can heal your mind, your heart, your soul and your perspective on life.
I hold a sense of gratitude to the outside world, for encompassing so much beauty within it. In pursuit of my ventures I tend to visit as many places of interest as I possibly can to gain inspiration from a variety of sources which helps me create new work.
I am also influenced by fused glass and I adore Gustav Klimts’ work.
I am proud to say I have now clocked up 7 years of creating a variety of art works.
I love doing line drawings and portraits, but I also find myself continuously evolving and generating new ideas to try out.
My latest adventures has seen me study from 2018-2019 and gain University Arts London qualifications in Art Design & Printmaking, Textiles, and Jewellery Making which is a good add on to my Dressmaking.
In 2018 I completed Outside In’s ‘Step Up Interpreting Collections Course where I researched and responded to Rita Simon’s Art Therapy collection at The Wellcome Collection in Euston, London.
In 2019 I was 1of 6 Artists in residence at West Sussex Records Office in Chichester cataloguing and responding to art created in Art Therapy sessions held by Dr Vawdrey at West Sussex Asylum (Graylingwell Hospital).
My greatest wish is that my work helps others to cultivate a dimensional shift towards wellness and aids them to get on and stay on their path to growth and recovery.
I enjoy being experimental when given the tools to be actively creative as doing art has helped me stay positive, happy and explore colour and detail.
