From the artist:
This is an image from a series of work from a commission for Reform the Norm. Responding to my ADHD and need for brain stimulus and input in the context of zoom meetings. These single line drawings represent an instinctive, responsive, impulsive and joyful creative 'doodling' which allows my brain to focus on the content of the online meeting. They are quickly completed and catch the essence of the dynamics of the individual as I perceive them in this interaction. I'm reflecting on how this online media allows us to engage in ways that are not considered appropriate in real life interactions and so represent freedom and access, in this case for me as a person who is autistic, ADHD and ticcs. A celebration of fidgeting over zoom! The individuals represented are sometimes identified and sometimes not.
