His art is a celebration of life expressed in mixed-media, combining figuration with abstract elements. The main focus of the work is on facial features and the challenge of capturing their emotions and complexities. Works are informed by his extensive travels in Europe where he lived for over a decade.
Wildman worked in fashion publishing and graphic design and currently concentrates on his visual arts practice. Exhibited since 1985 and was part of a number of open shows including the Whitechapel Gallery and the Royal Watercolour Society.
