News: Announcing the first Outside In Postcard Fundraiser – Deadline Extended

‘Dog’ – Tara O

Due to popular demand and numerous requests, we are now extending the deadline to take part in our Outside In postcard fundraiser. The deadline to request blank cards was Monday 13 September but there is still time to take part as the final deadline to send in artwork is now Thursday 30 September. Cards or postcard-sized artworks need to be signed on the reverse along with title and medium and can be sent to us directly at Outside In, PO BOX 810, Chichester, PO19 9WF. Please read on to find out more on how to get involved….

Outside In artists and friends, we need your help! As a charity we are always looking for new ways to support our ground-breaking exhibitions programme and this year we are launching our first ever annual postcard fundraiser. The theme of the fundraiser is ‘A Brighter Tomorrow’ and we are looking for Outside In artists and friends of the charity who would like to get involved by creating a postcard-sized artwork on that theme, working in whatever medium you choose.

We will display all the entries on our website, where buyers can choose to purchase one card for £75 or two cards for £100. Please note, as this is a charity fundraiser the proceeds will be donated to Outside In, so only submit a postcard if you are happy to take part for free.

Your artwork will be fully credited on the website and social media channels so it’s a great way to show off your work! We will also be selecting 12 of the artworks submitted by Outside In artists to feature in a 2022 calendar which we are creating as another fundraising initiative and an extension of this project. We will be launching the fundraiser in the Autumn, and the deadline to send in work is Thursday 30 September.

If you have any queries regarding the project, please get in touch with Matt Forbes-Dale in our Communications team at matthew.forbes-dale@outsidein.org.uk or on 07903 028452.
