Eustace Storrod shows Colours of the Mind

Outside In are working in partnership with Black Arts Forum to locate BAME artists facing barriers to accessing mainstream arts. Eustace Storrod is one of many artists that will be interacting with Outside In’s artist development programme.

Last week saw the private view of his Colours of the Mind a solo exhibition at the Grosvenor Road Studios.  in Birmingham. This is Eustace’s first display created in partnership with Black Arts Forum and North Smethwick Development Trust and will be showing until 2 December 2019. His process is to listen to jazz music to block everything out and to elicit a stream of consciousness creating vivid colours of geometric shapes that speak of his cultural roots. A self-taught artist, Eustace has been creating work like this every day for the last seven years. Wow!
