Outside In will host the European Outsider Art Conference 2018. The conference, taking place 4-6 May at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, will include presentations by artists, practitioners and academics. The programme will also include workshops, tours and the European Outsider Art Association’s (EOA) General Assembly. The purpose of the conference is to discuss important questions in the field of Outsider Art, to exchange ideas and build networks between professionals working in the field. Attendees will include artists, curators and collectors along with representatives from museums, galleries, collections, art projects and studio groups.
Outside In are looking for proposals for presentations around the theme of The Artist’s Voice. Proposals are welcomed from artists, studio groups and anyone who has something interesting and engaging to say on the topic of the artist and how best to support them. Presentations can take any form; from a PowerPoint to a performance.
If you have a proposal that you would like to be considered, or if you would like to discuss your ideas, please contact the Director of Outside In, Marc Steene at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The deadline for proposals is 10am on Monday 30 October.
