Action Space was launched in the 1960’s and registered as a charity in 1984. We have an excellent reputation for delivering high quality, specialist visual arts projects for adults with learning disabilities from our two art studios in South and Central London. We also work with partner organisations across London to deliver an outreach programme for people who are unable to access our studios.
We cater for a broad range of artistic talents, skills and interests: from beginners to established artists; those who wish to develop a professional creative practice as well as those who wish to explore their creativity for the sheer joy of it.
Through the use of visual arts activities, we create opportunities for self-expression, education, training, skills development and confidence building. We encourage engagement with the wider arts sector by running projects in mainstream arts venues and by organising exhibitions and events where our artists have an opportunity to showcase and sell their work.
Based in our office in Central London, the Administrator will support the two Co-Directors in all aspects of the running of the company and delivery of the programme.
This is a dynamic job for someone wishing to develop a career in arts administration.
We are looking for someone with good administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to work as part of a small team in a busy office.
