A new group exhibition of Project Ability artists opens this Saturday at Project Ability Gallery, Glasgow. The work on show is inspired by all things feline; big cats, fluffy cats, kittens, lions, tigers, leopards and more!
This is the 1st instalment of CATS, a large scale open-call exhibition of work by artists from across Project Ability's Aspire, ReConnect and Create programmes. The theme was so popular among the artists that Project Ability have had to divide the work up over two exhibitions. The 2nd instalment will be up later this year!
In addition to the CATS exhibition in the Project Ability Gallery, they also have a cat related exhibition in Gallery II at the same time. This show exhibits the research and ideas that have gone into a CATS publication which was created during a series of Project Ability workshops and led by Joanna Peace and Anthony Autumn.
In addition to all of the superb cat artworks in the main gallery that will be available for purchase, the CATS publication will also be for sale – while stocks last!
The exhibition runs 16 July – 6 August 2016 at Project Ability Gallery, Trongate 103, Glasgow, G1 5HD.
