So what’s the plan?
It’s got two parts to it – an initial event called Open Circuit so people can meet, mix and meddle – artists, technicians, coders, creatives and collaborators. That’s on 1st May in London at the fabulous Mozilla Foundation just off Covent Garden.
After than, people will be encouraged to pair or group up and a selected group of partners will get to take part in an intensive Short Circuit two day process, giving time and space for some in-depth play, pushing – stretching the boundaries of knowledge on both sides. That’s on 8th and 9th June at the wonderful Lighthouse, in Brighton.
Short Circuit is being developed by Jo Verrent and Sarah Pickthall. You can find out more information about the programme and how to apply. www.shortcircuit.org.uk
Any questions – please email at email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org
Perhaps you might be interested yourself, or know of people who might be – either as disabled artists, digital specialists or both. They are also interested in hearing from digital project managers who may want to support the programme.
The deadline to apply is midday on the 10th April, and all the info you need to find out more is on the website.
