Final week of Radical Craft

To highlight the final week of the Radical Craft: Alternative Ways of Making exhibition at Pallant House Gallery, we thought we would look back at some of our favourite feedback quotes and share some installation shots for those that have been unable to make it along.

Joanne B. Kaar’s replicas of Angus Mcphee’s woven work

Visitor one – “Overwhelming. It surpassed all my expectations and it is superbly presented.”

Xavier White’s ‘Verrelic Spires’ made from glass and Lasmin Salmon’s Untitled textile piece

Visitor two – “It stirred me up. My mind is fizzing and my hands are itching to touch and to make!”

Pascal Tassini’s work to the left and Ian Sherman’s assemblage to the right

Visitor three – “I love this kind of expressive freedom in creating – I smiled all the way round.”

Roland Kappel in the foreground and Dalton Ghetti and Nek Chand in the background

Visitor four – “Inspiring and uplifting – so much diversity of culture and form – really enjoyable!”

When the exhibition closes on Sunday 12 June 2016, it travels next to the Oriel Davies Gallery in Powys, Wales, where it opens on 26 June 2016. After this it travels to six other venues across the UK so do take a look at our website to locate these. And all that is left to say is thank you to everyone that has traveled to see it so far, we hope you enjoyed it!
