Volunteering Opportunities

New year…new volunteering opportunity!
Help a small charity … and keep your new years resolutions at the same time! What’s your new years resolution? Volunteering could help with all these resolutions …

Lose weight/ be more healthy – help with walks as a walk leader!

Learn new skills – There are opportunities for accredited training (depending on funding) when you volunteer, as well as learning new skills on-the-job.

Help a charity and get involved in the community – helping CoolTan will definitely help with this.

Have a better year in 2013 – CoolTan don’t make any promises but surveys have shown that volunteering can improve your wellbeing by 50%

Get a new job/change career – they can’t guarantee you will find work from volunteering but it is a great way to learn new skills, improve your CV or prove to employers that you have the skills they need!

Volunteer roles available:
• Graphic designers
• Photographers – especially those with experience of photographing artworks using studio lights
• Admin and online listings volunteers
• Exhibitions assistants
• Helpers for our upcoming move to our new building
• Research volunteers

If you have skills you want to share, CoolTan would love to hear your ideas on how you can help!

Visit the website www.cooltanarts.org.uk for more details of volunteer positions or contact Clara Jones, volunteer co-ordinator at CoolTan Arts: ring 0207 701 2696 or e-mail clara@cooltanarts.org.uk

As a new volunteer you will need to sign up with Clara for a Volunteer Induction before you can start volunteering.
