Presenting the first British exhibition of paintings and drawings by Swedish Outsider artist Linda Persson.
Painting gave Linda Persson free rein to express her highly creative individuality and provided an escape from everyday life which, due to her autism, was sometimes a struggle. Picking up a paintbrush was an easier way for her to communicate, and her bold brushstrokes fill the canvas with intense abstract and figurative messages that are full of stories from her imagination and feelings from her heart.
Linda's talent and unique style was recognised early on in her life. She exhibited in Sweden, Estonia and Rotterdam as well as at the Outsider Art Fair in New York before her growing success was cut short by her tragic death in a car accident in 2007.
This is Linda's first show in Britain and we hope these beautiful paintings that are her legacy will touch as many people here as they have done overseas.
Prices range from £500 – £1,600.
