Realm proves to be a ‘mesmerising’ exhibition

An ambassador’s review

Outside In ambassador Jim Thompson was among the attendees at the preview event for Realm, currently on show at CGP London, Southwark Park.

Describing it as a ‘wonderful exhibition’ he said the three collaborating artists had brought their individual work together as a whole ‘in video, sound, installation, sculpture and things covered in baking foil’.

“Outlandish vehicles by Mr X you want to crawl into as protection from the radiation of everyone else’s mobile phone, surreal animated projections and soundscape by Hazel Brill evolving from the unsettling to the uplifting.  Richard Downes’s poetry recited as if singing on one note like a priest’s liturgical chant but by a committed atheist – quite mesmerising,” Jim revealed.

The exhibition is running until 28 April, click here to find out more

Realm is a joint project by Outside In, CGP London and Bethlem Gallery.
