MK Arts for Health are inviting submissions for the Shoosmiths Art Prize 2014. "We are looking for artists at different stages in their career who are interested in showing their work in healthcare and community settings and joining us in our mission to improve health and wellbeing through art and creativity."
The selection panel will shortlist 10 artists / artists groups to be given an exhibition in Milton Keynes Hospital. All shortlisted artist will also participate in a group exhibition at Shoosmiths Lawyers Office in Milton Keynes.
One artist will be announced as the Art Prize winner at MK Arts for Health Annual Reception September 2014 and they will receive £500 prize money.

Anthony Spira, Director at MK Gallery
The exhibition sites within the hospital will vary in size and therefore MK Arts for Health welcomes applications from emerging artists with a small number of works ready for exhibition as well as established artists who have larger collections of work. Work must be wall based and suitable to be displayed using a rod and track hanging system.
