The Outside In: Step Up Audio Trail
Working under the guidance of audio-describer Bridget Crowley, five Outside In: Step Up artists have recorded spoken narratives of their research into artworks from Pallant House Gallery's collections. The recordings will form part of the Outside In: Step Up trail and will be available to download from the Outside In and Pallant House Gallery websites or you can borrow an mp3 player from the reception at Pallant House Gallery (deposit required).
The audio trail will be a fun and engaging way to learn more about the works chosen and the artists who created them, as well finding out what led the group to choose those works in the first place and the effects the research project had on their personal work.
The pieces being described are:
Barbara Hepworth, Single Form (Nocturne)
Frank Auerbach, Reclining Head of Gerda Boehm
Peter Howson, Suspicious Boy
Mark Gertler, Near Swanage
Patrick Caulfield, Reserved Table
NB: The Outside In: Step Up Audio Trail will be available for the duration of the Outside In: National exhibition.
