Elton Darlo in The Big Issue

Painting by Elton Darlo

The Big Issue – August 6 – 12 2013

The Streetlights Section featured Outside In artist Elton Darlo and three of his images. This was a great boost for Elton and you can see more of his work here and the PDF of the article below.

Elton says in the piece: “When I became homeless I was getting older and I was feeling my age both physically and mentally. Every day I scribble, and I paint when I can. Art is my therapy and means an awful lot to me. I have had work displayed in the Tate Modern with the Museum of Everything and I recently had a piece displayed at Tullie House as part of Outside In: North West.”
