John Lewis Partnership are celebrating Action Space's Leighton Project Young People's Group in their Community Galley in the third floor cafe of their Oxford Street store.
An exhibition of photographs of the group's artwork inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be shown in the cafe during July.
The Leighton Project Young People's Group is run in partnership with Elfrida Rathbone Camden's Leighton Education Project, an educational project for young people aged 16-25. The students are attending a two-year educational programme for young people with mild to moderate learning disabilities, teaching independent life skills to bridge the gap between adolescence to adulthood. The course runs for 20 hours per week, following Camden school term dates and supports young people with learning disabilities to make informed choices about their future. www.elfridacamden.org.uk
