Andy Wild, an artist form the North West, is holding an exhibition using paintings, MRI scans, medical notes and a radiotherapy mask. Andy has a brain tumour and epilepsy and uses the unique personal experience of his illness to inform his art and enhance its expression. Through this exhibition, Andy asks viewers to question their ideas and feelings about illness and death and what the patient’s experience can be when dealing with medical profession.

The exhibition will be held at Waterside Arts Centre in Sale. It will be shown in the Corridor Gallery from 13th July to 14th September. Andy will also be present at the exhibition on Saturday 7th September 2.00pm – 4.00 pm to meet visitors to the show.
