Tight Modern, delivered by Creative Future; an organisation aiming to promote the work of marginalised artists and writers, is coming to Pallant House Gallery this weekend (the 10th and 11th of November)!
Tight Modern is a miniature replica of London’s iconic Tate Modern Gallery and will showcase the work of 50 disabled and marginalised artists in the world’s smallest temporary gallery. The 50 artworks cover a range of media including collage, photography, etchings and intricate line drawings. The public are encouraged to vote for their favourite artwork, with shortlisted artists receiving £250, £175 or £75.
Each artwork is for sale for £50 each (framed)
This year, Tight Modern has already visited London during Creativity and Wellbeing Week and then again for World Mental Health Day – it has also appeared on Brighton seafront. The final leg of this year’s Tight Modern tour will be spent at Pallant House Gallery this weekend.
